Specialists for sailing

This special sailing week gave me more than I could imagine.. I’ve learned so much more from them than I could give.

And here’s the story.. A few years ago a group of people decided to give a chance to kids with special needs to go on sailing vacations. They set everything.. sailing boats, skippers, and supporting team. And this is how the story of making memories started. They are doing this for several years and this September I happen to be their photographer, they let me be part of their story.

I’ve been working with normal kids as a swimming teacher for years and as a kid, I had the opportunity to spend some time with disabled kids because my mum was working in a school with them.. so I thought I’m prepared for everything when I join this year’s special sailing team. But no.. I wasn’t prepared at all.. I wasn’t prepared that I will be crying like a baby when we will be saying goodbye.. I wasn’t prepared that they will give me much more than I could give to them.. I wasn’t prepared that they are so special that will leave a footprint on my heart.
